Lions ProbusLinda Sedgwick-Girard, Jamie Doolittle, Cindy Barrett, Fraser MaxwellIn normal years, the two Cobourg based Probus clubs hold their meetings at the Cobourg Lions Community Centre. These are the Probus Northshore Club and the Probus Northumberland Club. But with no meetings and the revenue that Lions would normally get from them, the Cobourg Lions Community centre is struggling.

The Presidents of the two Clubs, Linda Sedgwick-Girard (Northshore) and Fraser Maxwell (Northumberland), chatted with the President of Probus Canada, Jamie Doolittle, a Cobourg resident, and they arranged for the Lions Centre Manager, Cindy Barrett, to receive $500 from each Club to help the Lions Centre during the pandemic.
